You may have seen already the incredible shrine that was erected on the main road between Bophut and Chaweng, and wondered what exactly it is, and even where it came from. This shrine was an offering of Khun Chomchoke Karntapicharn, a local businessman, who wanted to provide the shrine to the public on Samui, to worship.
If there’s one single piece of advice I would give to someone who wants to get greater success with women when looking for love on Koh Samui, it would be this: Talk to a lot of girls.
And, if you’re in Chaweng and don’t want a bar-girl, then stay away from them.
I know this probably isn’t what you were looking for in tips on how to get a girlfriend. You probably wanted a couple of lines and tactics that you could take to a nightclub, use on a girl, take her home and put her on the mantle. Things don’t really work like that. Great girlfriends need a great boyfriend. To be a great boyfriend, you need to have the social skills. Continue reading
Between the beach vendors, and huddled along the water’s edge as it incessantly caresses the shores of Koh Samui, lovers embrace as they look out to sea. Their gazes are fixed no longer on the beauty that lies behind them, at the coconut groves reaching out towards neither the oceans nor the exotic birds as they nest within the jungles. Instead they find solitude and peace in the beauty before them. A vastness of stunning grace enraptures them so quietly that they too remain in silence.
The waters off of the shores of the sparkling island of Chaweng on Koh Samui are teeming with big game fish for the angler who lives for the thrill of catch and release.
Koh Samui has always had a bit of a sultry style when it comes to massages and massage parlours. What you might be aware of is that you don’t have to climb into a strange environment, take of your clothing in a closed curtained room and lie down on a well-used massage mattress. There are masseuses that will in fact come to you on Chaweng beach on this tropical paradise full of wonders and treats beyond measure. Continue reading
One of the wonderful opportunities of visiting Chaweng on Koh Samui is the variety of Beauty Salons and Hair-Cutting facilities that are accessible in this area. And although it can often be a little difficult deciding with your beautician exactly what you are looking for, the majority of these salons are designated for foreign visitors.
You will find everything from large to exotic, designer and fashion establishments to the regular barbershops with the candy cane signs outside, so if you’re on holiday and have time to escape your holiday villa before your hair turns into something resembling Rip Van Winkle, wander out to one of these facilities in Chaweng for a trim or a complete overhaul of your appearance.
Here are some key words to have at your side to let your barber or beautician know what you really need.
When thinking about the connotations of the ancient art form of Muay Thai, or Thai Kick-Boxing as it has become more widely known in Koh Samui’s Muay Thai training camps, muscular and sweat riddled warriors come to mind, knees and elbows dangerously trained to crush and conquer.
The masters of Muay Thai initially derived this art from the need for close contact and hand to hand combat in difficult terrain, from their early threats of invasion. Continue reading
Welcome to the streets of Chaweng, where the beer flows freely from the 7-11’s of Koh Samui and the nightlife springs to life with dancing Lady-boys and an outrageously large population of women pursuing men. Chaweng is definitely the centre of all the attention when it comes to people seeking adventure, and the captivating beauty of Thai women is one of the most produced goods on Koh Samui.
The streets of Chaweng are lined with women of all sizes, ages and genders looking for someone to take them back to their home country. But the outcome can only be achieved one way. There is a price for stealing away a Thai woman. Literally. Continue reading
When you are touring around the streets of Chaweng on Koh Samui you will begin to notice a number of little bars with bright lights, some Christmassy looking strings of lights, red or bright green lights and a plethora of scantily clad Thai girls lounging about. Now for the average person this might seem like a bar to jump onto a bar-stool at and order up a few drinks and enjoy the view. Continue reading
